Federal contracts from $3000 to $100,000 need only 3 quotes and
contracts under $3000 are considered micro purchases
and require no bidding or quotes at all. They can
even be paid for by credit card or electronic funds
transfer immediately.
Changes in Federal procurement have been made and many small businesses
